The Write Month: June 27 - Here Comes the Boom and the Cloud of Doom

Last night I went to Summerfest. It was supposed to be a happy night. I got free tickets from a friend. I ditched out of work early. I saw my friend's band. I was hanging with my sister. I raged for Timmy. I had a sampler platter from Saz's. I said to a young female "Settle down ya drunk!" when she called the Iceman sexy. I saw some fireworks. I saw some kid all partied out and commented that I remember my first Summerfest. Some people just aren't cut out for life on the road. I left the  Big Gig to hang out with my buddy. We drank PBR 40s. He's a fan of my writing here on the blog and we discussed some of my work this month. I saw quite possibly the sweetest hotel Milwaukee has to offer. I sat outside drinking my beer on a perfect Milwaukee Summer night. I met the cast of Wicked. I talked with a band from San Antonio who had won a Nationwide contest to play at Summerfest. They are playing today (Thursday) and went to the Fest last night and were blown away. They loved the city of Milwaukee so far. I got some free eats (pizza) from the people at the bar who didn't finish theirs. It was approaching bar close. I was about to go home. And then came the Boom and the Cloud of Doom.

I need to take you back a few hours from this moment. That saying comes from watching the fireworks at the lakefront during Summerfest. As you know, fireworks explode in the sky and display a variety of colors, shapes and sizes and are often accompanied with loud noises. I love fireworks. I love fire. I love explosions. I basically love anything that is as big and obnoxious as I am. We're brothers. We're best friends. We stick together. We bother the "Normies" by being a spectacle. But still they cheer. This drives us. This compels us to be bigger, louder and more obnoxious. We are the center of attention. There was no wind down by the lake during the fireworks and the smoke hung over the area like a Cloud of Doom. Loud booms would happen inside of this cloud and you could see the faint outline of fireworks but it wasn't entirely clear. You heard the boom and could not see exactly what was hiding back there. Was it good? Was it bad? Was it dangerous? Should you stand and watch or turn and run from fear? We stood and watched. This was a controlled boom. The results were planned. This was entertainment. But the booms and dooms we witness in life are rarely planned like this nor are they entertaining. But they happen. It is a part of life. You have two choices - to stand and watch and be a part of it or turn and run from fear. I don't run. I'm too fat for that. But even if I could I wouldn't. I face my problems head on. I deal with it. For the most part I think I am able to exist with a positive outlook on life despite the shit I have to deal with. I'm doing it. I'm still alive. I don't know how, but I've lived to see another day. To live another adventure. But still the Boom and the Cloud of Doom was able to find me. It always does.

I'm not going to share with you what happened when I left Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub, which is at the historic Pabst Brewery. If you are in Milwaukee I definitely recommend going there. They have done a fantastic job preserving the existing building while also adding a modern touch to it. They just don't build places like the Pabst Brewery anymore and it's great that the new owners were cognoscente of that fact that the old world charm was unique. This is my shit.  I was planning on going home and writing about getting old. I was the old guy at Summerfest. I was standing in the midst of a crowd of teenagers (who were all probably born in the 90's) at the Miller Lite Oasis while some DJ/Rapper called Diplo was getting them all hyped. Is this what passes for music these days? A guy and his Macbook Pro? I didn't who that was and the assembled youth crowd knew that I was an outsider. They looked at me like I was a sex offender. But I didn't want to be anywhere near these fucking little kids. I wanted to be as far away from here as possible. But had I known the shit I had to deal with later this night I might have stayed here with these scantily clad children. Seriously. What the fuck is wrong with these kids? Put some god damn clothes on. Who let you leave the house like that?

And get off your phone. Stop your tweeting and instergramming. Enough with the Pinterest and Four Square check-ins. In my day Four Square was played with a kick ball on the playground. I don't understand these kids with their loud music and their Dan Fogleberg, Zima, hula hoops and pac-man video games. Don't you see? People today have attention spans that can only be measured in nanoseconds! And stop "wooing" and proclaiming this as the best night ever. You're 18. You've only seen like 6,575 nights in your life. I've seen 11,688. I'm the authority on best nights. Unless you really want to ask that old dude over there who really could be a sex offender. He's seen more nights than me. And he's seeing a little too much of you right now. Just saying. God damn kids and their drugs. And fireworks are too loud. Excuse me explosions in the sky, but I'm trying to have a conversation over here. Can you please keep it down?

But I didn't write about that. Life got in the way. I have more important things in my life to worry about than a bunch of stupid kids from the suburbs who are out way past their curfew thinking they are being rebels. I'm talking about the boom. It's unexpected and it hits you hard. Most of the time the shockwave knocks you on your ass and leaves you trying to figure out what the fuck just happened. As you pick up the pieces of your life the Cloud of Doom hangs over you. It's like the domino effect. Or the notion of "When it rains, it pours." Or the snowball effect. It's the wrong attitude to have. When you think negatively, bad things will continue to happen to you because that's the mindset you are in. Every little thing is now the biggest thing in the world and you set yourself up for a "seriously, what's next?" moment. All of the sudden you're in way over your head dealing with things that are out of your control. You worry about the future. If she really loves me. Can I afford to buy a Hybrid Car? Will my children go to public school or a private school? Did I invest in the right stock? Am I putting enough money into my 401k to retire someday? Are we doing enough to slow down the deterioration of the Ozone Layer? Will the Condor still exist in the wild in 2044? Slow down pal. You're not there yet. I'm not saying don't worry about the future. It's just that you can't get there unless you worry about yourself today and fix the problems that you are dealing with at this very moment.

Don't let the Boom hit you. Don't let the Cloud of Doom hang over you. Think positively. Embrace the little things. Live your life with boundless joy. There is so much beauty in the world and so many reasons to live. Every day, every moment is a chance to turn it all around and find that thing out there that makes you happy. Have so much love in your heart that it pours over into the hearts of others. Give someone a hug or a high five. Do something to make someone's day. Tell someone in your life how much you appreciate them. Live a good life and let Karma pay you back. Dance to your favorite song. Laugh about something so silly that you pee yourself a little bit. We've all done it. It's the coolest. Even Miles Davis does it. It's not the sickest thing you've ever heard. Do what feels right. It's your life. Or do whatever you want. You don't have to listen to me. You only have to answer to yourself and Jesus. WWJD? And WW(insert your name here)D? Then go out and do it. C'MON! DO IT! DO IT NOW! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? C'MON!!

The Write Month: June 26 - We Fear Change

Hey Scott - I'd like to talk to you about making some changes. Change? We fear change. And then I proceed to squash the very idea of changing my life. I've been reminded lately that what I'm currently doing is not working out for me. I don't want to get into a lot of specifics here but there are two parts of my life that need some serious change. Well, three really. The first one is my job. I'm not going to bore you with the details because I'd probably just bore myself to sleep like I do at work. My job is about as unexciting as it gets which causes me to goof off more than I should and inject my day with an insane amount of randomness. This does not lead to a fulfilling 9 to 5. I enjoy the people that I work with and I really think that my company is one of the better ones to work for. Everything about it is great except for my actual task during those work hours. But I have been gifted a great opportunity thanks to some restructuring in our department that is allowing me to explore some other options. The first stage of that just began yesterday so I don't really have anything to report on that front. But let's just say that I'm exploring some options. I don't know where I will go from here but at least I recognized that there is a problem and that I need to fix it. I don't expect to be one of those people who love their job because I don't like to work. I'm an eternal slacker. I like to coast through life. I usually do the bare minimum. But this has caused a lot of emptiness in my life at least for the 40 hours a week between 9 and 5 where I can't just do whatever I want. More on this later because I just don't where I am going with this right now. But the ball is rolling my friends. I could very well be running from it holding a whip and a golden idol.

Next we have my life. I was hanging out with some old friends last night. While we were catching up I was asked about my current relationship status, which is of course eternally single and alone. I was given a supportive lecture about everything that I already know - you have so many good qualities, you're a genuinely nice person who deserves happiness, why don't you take a chance because what do you have to lose, there's someone out there for everyone, try online dating, don't be so hard on yourself and the standard talk that anyone would give you when they are trying to offer some moral support. After all that she basically asked why I wasn't making any attempts. My response? Thousands of excuses, none of which that are valid. I fear change. I spend an awful amount of time alone. It's almost to the point that I don't know any better. I'm set in my ways. I'm used to my lifestyle. I don't know how to be flexible anymore. I don't know how to put myself out there. To be vulnerable with myself as a person and not just myself with my words. I hide behind my online persona. I don't go out and meet new people. I don't accept change. I have to figure out a way to do this because my life outside of work is also not very fulfilling (with a few exceptions).

I need to change my image. Both the one that I see in the mirror and the one that I see in my head. There was a time when I ate better, went to the gym and cut back on behaviors that made me unhealthy (excessive consumption of alcohol, lack of sleep, poor mental health and many other things). I don't know exactly when I stopped caring about changing my image. But I kind of know why. I don't really see the point of it. I'm struggling with finding a purpose in life and a reason to keep on living. If I can't get a handle on that then there is no reason to sweat the little things. I'm having a really hard time moving forward in my life and becoming a different person. I want to stay who I have always been. I want to live with no cares, no responsibilities. I want to be a kid. Be young and dumb. Be like I was in College. But I'm not. I'm a little older. I'm a little wiser. And I'm starting to grow hair in really weird places man. I feel like I'm turning into Sasquatch. But I'm not. I'm the same old Scott Reck that I used to be. But the World has changed around me. My family and friends have changed around me. I have not. I feel like I have been left behind, Kirk Cameron style. But they didn't leave me. I simply refused to follow them.

I don't know what to do anymore. Perhaps I need some help. I've tried to stay light and entertaining here on the blog during the Write Month. But sometimes life is real. There is nothing funny about it and there aren't any jokes. This is what happens at 2 in the morning after you witnessed what true happiness can be like then return to your life of solitude. Oh yeah, and the booze probably had something to do with it too. There's a reason that they call it liquid courage or truth serum. It tends to bring out the worst in me. But sometimes the worst can be my best. You're the best around! Nothing's ever gonna keep you down. You're the best around! Nothing's ever gonna keep you down!! I'll keep telling myself that. Maybe I can change my job. Maybe I can change my relationship status. Maybe I can change my image. Maybe I can learn to stop fearing change and embrace it. I need change. I have a dollar. Can anyone help a brother out?

The Write Month: June 25 - The Night Shane Falco Saved Korben Dallas

It's no secret that I have a Man-Crush on Keanu Reeves. If that was a secret then it isn't anymore. I have a very unnatural fondness for Keanu Reeves and the movies that he makes. The Matrix. Hardball. The Devil's Advocate. Sweet November. Constantine. The Lake House. Speed. Point Break. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure was the movie that got me through college (on the night when I had to study for a big test or write a final paper, I'd put this movie on while I worked because my plight followed theirs... to lesser extremes of course). And even though I've always been a huge fan of The Replacements, it has now moved into my top 5 favorite movies of all time. It all started with the night that Shane Falco saved my cat Korben Dallas.

It was late on a Saturday night. May 18th to be exact. I took my Dad to see the movie Star Trek Into Darkness. We went to the 730pm show and got done around 10pm. Since I didn't have anything better to do that night, I decided to stick around and watch another movie. I walked into the 1020pm showing of Iron Man 3 only to find... not a single person in the theater on a Saturday night. Knowing that I would be caught dead red for sneaking into a movie where they didn't sell any tickets I decided to instead see the 10pm showing of Oblivion. It was alright. Nothing to write home about. Of course I wouldn't write home because I was just about to go there. So here  I am getting home a little after midnight and thinking it's probably time to go to bed. But I turned on the TV and flipped through the channels and there on TBS was The Replacements. So I sat and watched it even though I have seen it enough times to be able to quote the entire movie from beginning to end. I live my life by this flick. I can't help but watch it every time it is on TV. I also watch it on my own a few times a week. I guess I'm just weird like that.

While I was in the living room watching The Replacements I heard a noise in the bedroom. Something I've never heard before. It was my cat crying like he was in pain. It was new and bit alarming. Who'd have ever thought that it could be?  I quickly sprung up from the couch and ran into the room faster than Barry Allen. I searched all over the room but he was not to be found. I looked in the kitchen. Nothing. Not in the bath tub, not in the window, not in his favorite chair. I was freaking out. I had no idea where Korben Dallas was. And then I heard his cries coming from the one place that I didn't look - outside. My heart raced and my mind went to the worst possible scenario. I ran outside. I flew like the wind, with winged sandals on my feet. As I turned the corner I didn't know what to expect. Please be ok, I prayed to whoever was listening. And there he was in the 1st floor window, scratching at the screen trying to get back into his home probably unaware that he was not on the 2nd floor anymore.

Apparently he figured out a way to push the screen out and fell outside. He was terrified. He clung to me so hard as I carried him back inside and up the stairs. I can't imagine the fear that was running through his body. I joke all the time that he is from the streets and therefor badass enough to fend for himself. But even though he bites me sometimes like a little asshole to remind me that he's dangerous, I know that he's a little softy on the inside. I set him on the floor and watched him walk around. He had no visible limp or hesitation. He didn't cry or squirm when I squeezed parts of his body to see if there were any broken bones or bruises. He acted like nothing was wrong. I stayed up with him for the next hour or so to make sure he was ok. He was fine. Just fine. Someone out there took good care of him. He didn't get a scratch. I promise. Not a scratch. Someone out there is looking out for me.

If not for my love for The Replacements I might have gone to sleep that night. But something, someone even, told me to stay awake that night and watch a silly movie that I've seen more times than any sane person should admit to. You can call it fate, Karma paying me back, Divine Intervention or whatever kind of higher power you believe in. I don't know what to call it. I just know that something protected him as he tumbled out the window and cushioned his fall. Something made sure that I was awake when it happened around 1:30am. Something made sure that through all of this we would be OK. I often feel just like Shane Falco. I mean after all, he said it best, "You're playing and you think everything is going fine. Then one thing goes wrong. And then another. And another. You try to fight back, but the harder you fight, the deeper you sink. Until you can't move... you can't breathe... because you're in over your head. Like quicksand. " A lot of things have gone wrong in my life. I struggle and fight. And just when it seems like everything was going wrong, something went right. I know that I've been thanking Shane Falco for saving Korben Dallas but I'm thanking the wrong person. I know that it was you Timmy. Thanks for always being there for me. I don't know what I would do without you.

The Write Month: June 24 - Do You Know Fess Parker?

"Do you know Fess Parker?" That's what legendary Milwaukee Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker asked a 5 year old kid on a July 2, 2012 game during the 1st inning. The kid's name escapes me at this time and I can't find this information anywhere on the internet, but the kid's last name was Parker, which lead Uecker to ask him if he knew the deceased actor. Fess Parker, who died in 2010 at the age of 85, is best known for playing Davy Crockett in Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color hour long episodes from 1954-1957 and Daniel Boone in the TV show of the same name for 165 episodes from 1964-1970. Fess Parker also played the dad in the movie Old Yeller. I had no idea who Fess Parker was and I consider myself a knowledgeable fan of TV and Movies. There was no way this kid would know who Fess Parker was, which made it all that much more hilarious. But sadly, this kid was suffering from some kind of disease like cancer and was in town to get treatment at Children's Hospital. For some reason he was on the air with Uecker and it turned out to be easily the most entertaining half inning of Brewers baseball I have ever listened to. Why? Bob Uecker.

With the kid being 5 years old he wasn't really talkative nor could he answer Uecker's questions properly to inform the audience. This led Uecker to fill in the blanks and make the conversation lively, something that he is very good at doing. At one point Uecker asked him a question and the kid struggled to come up with a response which led Uecker to say, "You know, the questions get harder as we go along". There was one other line Uecker had that I can't exactly remember but it went something like this: Uecker was announcing that 3rd baseman Aramis Ramirez was stepping to the plate. The kid Parker was like "Who's that?" and Uecker was like, "That's our 3rd Baseman." Then he announced Corey Hart coming to the plate and once again Parker asked, "Who's that?" and Uecker said, "That's our 1st Baseman." When Parker asked the same question when Rickie Weeks was announced Uecker kind of heckled the kid with an abbreviated version of Abbot & Costello's Who's on 1st? then told the kid that he didn't have the time to fill him in on the roster. I'm not doing it justice but it's kind of impossible without the audio. I just remember laughing so hard laying out on the grass on Milwaukee's Lakefront (this was the night before the July 3rd Fireworks) listening to the radio. Not too many people can get away with heckling a 5-year-old kid (especially one with a serious illness) but Bob Uecker did it in a way that is both entertaining and non offensive. I hope that little Parker kid is doing well today and that he remembers his time spent with one of the greats in entertainment and broadcasting.

So now do you know Fess Parker? Like the little kid Parker you probably won't alive when Fess was in his prime. You read what I said here or did a quick Google search to know more. But here is another question - do you know Scott Reck? How about Pookon? The Iceman? I hate to compare it to the Holy Trinity but I'm going to do it anyway - like God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost, I am 3 people in one. Scott Reck is the one who exists for real life scenarios, legal and professional purposes. Pookon is my online persona that creates this blog, the website and encompasses other personalities such as Sir Robert Tway, the Drunken Squirrel or anyone else I pretend to be when I am tired of being myself. The Iceman is the me I always want to be - social, outgoing,  fun loving, full of life, everyone's friend, a spectacle and whatever else you would use to describe that side of me. But if you ever wanted to know about me you simply need to read this blog. This blog is probably the best representation of who I am. All 3 sides of me. If you are curious here are the articles you may have missed this week. Click on the links to the side of the page in The Archives for the rest of the articles I have done during the Write Month.

Tuesday June 18: A Mild Addiction - I was thinking about some of the addictions that plague me and they are no different than the ones that most people go through - eats, gambling and the sauce. But I consider these for me to be mild addictions because I don't let them control my life. My Mother or God might say otherwise but in this article I attempt to convince them or anyone else reading that I am right in my assessment of my life and the things that I do with my free time to add a little spice to life.

Wednesday June 19: To The Moon and Back - As I left work one evening I could see a clear image of the moon in the sky even though it was 6pm. I then thought to myself that there have only been a select few people (12 to be exact) who have been able to look at the Earth from the surface of the Moon. 4 of them have died and the rest are in their late 70's or early 80's. Within a few years there will be no living person who has walked on the moon. Those men are incredibly unique. I wish that I was. But maybe I am. And I might not have to go to the Moon and back to stand out.

Thursday June 20: Inaction Figure - Everyone is familiar with Action Figures. Whether you played with G.I. JOES, Star Wars or any other brand turned toy you know that these figures can be positioned to fight or shoot guns or ride in cars or whatever. They can and do various things when controlled by the user but I see myself as being almost opposite of that. They are Action Figures whereas I call myself an Inaction Figure. It's exactly like it sounds. Definition of Inaction (noun): absence of action; idleness. But does this word really define me?

Friday June 21: Get the Fork Outta Here! - I don't like forks. Plain and Simple. If I had it my way I would never use a fork again. I just prefer spoons. I expect you to understand this weird quirk that I have, but by now don't you expect me to be a little bit odd?

Saturday June 22: It Just Hits You, Like a Bolt of Lightning - For the most part I don't plan out these daily articles. I just live my life like usual and let the ideas hit me. And sometimes they just strike, like a bolt of lightning. They are seemingly random and never hit in the same place twice. This article is about that concept but also about my love for storms, thunder and lightning (and baby says...) and laying awake at night listening to the rain.

Sunday June 23: The Drunken Squirrel - This is a glimpse inside of my mind when I am drunk. It's pretty damn random. I call my Ghostwriter The Drunken Squirrel because he comes out when I've had a few and scurries around creating havoc in his wake. In this article I used the speech-to-text function on my phone and just talked for a while about whatever creeps up in there. Up until now Just Call Me Random was my favorite thing that I have written this month. You probably won't fully understand this unless you're incredibly into movies like I am. Or if you are a complete weirdo like I am.

We've got less than a week here on Pookon's Ill Blog in the Write Month and even though I love everything I have written here, I'm kind of ready to take a break. It's hard writing every day for me because I don't like being brief. For some reason I can't just throw down 2 paragraphs and leave it at that. Maybe it's just because I have so much to say and I feel like my days are limited. Maybe it's because I don't think anyone is reading so I might as well just do what makes me happy. And this makes me happy. I hope that in some way or form I was able to brighten your day a little bit. I am a spectacle. I do it because it feels right but I also hope to entertain others. The world is fun. I just hope that I'm one of the people who make it that way.

The Write Month: June 23 - The Drunken Squirrel

I have to explain something for you to understand this post. I "wrote" it when I was drunk. I call myself the Drunken Squirrel because that's the name that I give my Ghostwriter who takes over when I've had a few. I say "wrote" this because I actually used this speech-to-text function on my phone. That's why some of this doesn't make sense because Google has a tough time translating certain things. Personally I think that makes it funnier because it makes me sound like an idiot. But I am an idiot. It's part of my charm, or at least I'd like to think that it is. When I get drunk I get random. Hell when I'm sober I'm random. This is a brief glimpse inside the mind of the man they call Scott "Iceman" Reck or Pookon around these parts. This is the stuff that is going through my head. Most times I just talk to myself out loud like a crazy person but the last few nights I decided to "write" those thoughts down. You're welcome. Are you not entertained? You will be. You... Will... Be...

What is it called Taco Bell for sale? Why do they call it 4th meal? It should be every meal. That s*** is so good I could probably eat it everyday until I die. Of course invited every day I probably would die. I don't think that food is good for anybody especially not Jesus in the Dalai Lama. I had a dream does Locos Tacos - it's basically a taco inside of Doritos. I'm pretty sure my mom invented that at the Rec Christmas party. We have these things called walking tacos. You open up a tiny bag of Doritos and put all of the toppings in there. My mom was doing this long before Taco Bell started doing the tree does thing. I wish I could sue Taco Bell, be like hey you stole my mom's idea you bastards. But I'm probably sure that I'd lose that case even if I the best lawyers that $10 can buy. Because its face it, that's all the money I have to my name. But that's enough money to buy Doritos Locos Tacos.

Los Locos kick your face. Who is a visit no from Short Circuit? Los Locos take your balls, Los Locos take your face, Los Locos kick your balls into outer space or something like that. Johnny 5 said it was he was all like games turned up any had like a mohawk in like spray paint stuff. Hey Johnny if I was b***** do specially when he had the guy from Spinal Tap trying to sell them for money. Did Steve Guttenberg totally bailed on the sequel? Hey man, like the Breakfast Club chick. Was Allie Sheedy in those movies? I don't like Molly Ringwald. Was maybe that's why I'm thinking of Molly Ringwald not in Short Circuit. But that's Indian dude was. I saw him in another movie. Fisher Stevens. He was Iggy, one of Koopa's nephews or something in the live action Super Mario Brothers movie. I was like hey, I know that f*****. He's the guy from the Short Circuit. The knot Steve Guttenberg guy.

I wonder what happened to Fisher Stevens. Sometimes I lie awake at night worrying about if you have enough money to pay his bills and I think to myself is there a help Fisher Stevens pay his bills fund? If so, can I contribute? Only make it take to buff minimum wage but I have enough money to help him out. You brought me so much joy with his portrayal of Bend Jenna have free, wait, that's not his name in Short Circuit 1 he was Ben jajaja b**** to a (Ben Jabituya) then Short Circuit 2 his name was Ben job very (Ben Jahveri). Did he get married in between Short Circuit 1 & 2? Or did he just changed his name because people thought he was a terrorist? I mean after all Short Circuit 2 did put take place in New York City. And we all know what happened with terrorists in New York City even though its Short Circuit 2 was in 1988. Maybe he was scared that he be connected with the bombings. I don't know maybe that's why he is in hiding. All Fisher Stevens you can come out now. Olly Olly oxen free.

A lot of people disappeared and I'm not just talking about Jimmy Hoffa or a Millionaire hurt (Amelia Earhart). What happened to Chunk? The truffle shuffle was dynamite. Where did he go and what about Pugsley from The Addams Family? Where the hell is that kid? I want to party with him. I want to go fishing with Hoggle from Labyrinth. I wonder what the catch of the day was. What who also loves David Bowie's package? Its like staring into the Sun - you know that you should not be doing it but you can't look away. It's mesmerizing. The package is on display like a day after Thanksgiving special at the mall. They run advertisements for the day before; doorbuster specials. You have no power over me. I'm not gay, not to do anything wrong with that. What were they thinking, allowing David Bowie to walk around showing off is moose knuckle? Kids R kids are watching. You're not supposed to learn about that stuff until sex ed when a king giggle at packages. I mean there it is! Wrong, Sir! Wrong! Under section 37 B of the contract signed by him, it states quite clearly that all offers Shelby come no invoice if - you can read it for yourself in this photo staff a copy: I, understand, shall forfeit all rights, privileges and license is here in and herein contained, etc, etc... sex mentis incendium Gloria call Tim, etc, etc... memo bis put or the custom! It's all there, black and white, clear as crystal! You stole fizzy lifting drinks! You bumped into the ceiling which now has to be washed and sterilized. You get nothing! You lose! Good day Sir! I said good day!

How about that Jennifer Connelly? In that slick she was my first crush. You probably think its weird cuz in this movie she was under 18. Hey I thought you was 18! I coulda swore you was 18! But in a weird way its okay because she was like 16 when she made this movie and I was like 9 when I first side it. As for me looking at her now in this flick its kinda wrong but I still like it. I loves me some Sarah. Ludo is dumb; doesn't smell bad. Sarah smells good. Does fire dudes want to pop off her head? I wanna pop something else if you know what I mean. I'm sorry that's just wrong, but how could it be wrong if it feels so right. I wanna marry a girl like that. Sara is always like, its not fair. You damn right it's not fair. Not fair that I can't get a crack at that p****. The trick is always like playing with toys and stuff and like didn't want to grow up. I'm like b****, I got a toy you can play with. That's so awful. It's like a kids movie man. I shouldn't be saying things like that. Come inside have a cuppa tea. Don't go that way. Give you a gun that way, it goes straight to my pants. You want to know what's at the center of the Labyrinth Sarah? My dick.

Lose that little fox a****** riding around on a dog? I guess that makes sense. What the hell a fox ride? Fox can't ride a horse. Fox cant ride a go kart. Is a fox going to ride the city bus? There's no city bus in a Labyrinth. So Fox has to ride the dog. What's his name, Sir Didymus? What's the dogs name, Ambrocious? Damn this thing knows Didymus and Ambrocious? This thing is smarter than probably me. Chris, doesn't take a lot to be smarter than me. I'm just some drunken a******.

This is my mind on booze. Its like the She's All That chick Rachael Leigh Cook commercial where she's like this is your brain. This is your brain on drugs. Then she smashed the s*** out of the f****** kitchen. Even though she was angry there, I'd still do her. I've loved her since The Babysitters Club movie. Yeah I watch that s***. Don't judge me. Then she was in that Tom and Huck with Jonathan Taylor Thomas. You know, the little Simba f*****. And Tool Times' middle child. And Josie and the Pussycats is like one of my, what do they condos - guilty pleasures? Alright I gotta go, Tony Plus style. I didn't mean to take up all your sweet time, I'll give it right back to you one of these days. Because I'm a Vudu child, Voodoo child, Boo boo child. Lord knows I'm a boo do child.

The Write Month: June 22 - It Just Hits You, Like a Bolt of Lightning

It's not science, when you find the right idea it just hits you. It's like lightning. When I started this Write Month I had a couple of ideas in the hopper but for the most part I've just let the World take its' course to lead me to these articles. Every day I would take an idea from my head or a moment from my life and write about it. It didn't have to be the most sensational thing or the greatest idea in the history of mankind but they were always unique. Even if it was an idea that someone had before it was still unique to me and therefor could be another chapter in my life. This has been a revelation of  sorts because every day presents a new challenge to write another blog post. And every day I have succeeded with bringing you a fresh new work of art. Or at least my ramblings disguised as art. Today that work of art is something that I can not take credit for. It is an act of God. It is a storm. And lightning. And thunder. And rain. And everything else that comes with it.

It was storming when I was leaving the bar tonight after having a few post-work drinks with some friends. I drove home in the rain and I am currently sitting at the computer with the window open listening to the sounds of nature. You know there is not much more that I love than to lay back and listen to a storm. Whether I am safely indoors or inside of a tent, I become a part of the storm while listening to the droplets of rain, the wind whistling through the tress, the sound of thunder and seeing the flash of lightning light up the night sky. There's something so incredibly dangerous but also so calming about a storm that tugs at both ends of the spectrum. I feel safe but at the same time am a moment away from danger. It's a little poetic and inspiring. It makes you feel small in a way because it shows you that you are not in control of this World but at the same time you can find shelter and escape it thus preserving your existence. I love being caught up in it with nothing better to do than just experience the majesty of it all. Just like Eddie Rabbitt, I love the rainy night.

I'm big on white noise. I don't know why I had to bring race into this but it just happened that way. Sorry to all of the other noises of different colors that I offended. That was not my intent. But I need some kind of white noise to help me fall asleep. Most nights it is the TV playing a movie that I've seen 100 times. Pain heals. Chicks dig scars. Glory... lasts forever. In the summer all I need is a fan. But last night I had the windows open and fell asleep to the soothing sounds of rain and the distant rumble of thunder. It rocked me to sleep like Momma rocks a wagon wheel. Hey Momma rock me.

I woke up this morning to a soft rain and it was a beautiful way to begin a new day. Sometimes things just happen for no particular reason and I'm caught up in the middle of them. Storms happen. Did I see that coming? Nope. Did I plan on writing this article? Nope. But when could I predict the weather, let alone the future? Both are so unpredictable. In fact I don't know if I want to live in a world where we know how everything is going to play out ahead of time. I don't want to be able to say that it's too bad the post office isn't as efficient as the weather service. I like chance. I like wonder. I like being amazed. I love to dance in the rain. To drink whiskey around a fire while the rain falls down around me. It's just water after all. The human body is up to 60% water so it's kind of like a reunion when water hits the surface of our skin and becomes absorbed. To me it's such a warm feeling even though the rain may be cold. It feels like home. I'd give anything to feel like that every day.

The Write Month: June 21 - Get the Fork Outta Here!

By now you've figured out that I'm a little weird. What tipped you off? Certainly you figured it out by following me during this month, on social media or in real life. I don't know what stops me from being "normal" but I kind of like it. It sets me apart from everyone else. I've never met anyone else like me and I bet you haven't either. We all have those little things that make us unique. That's one of the beautiful things about being human. Even identical twins have something about them that make them different from each other. We're like snowflakes man - no two are ever the same. We all have our little quirks. One thing that I'm really weird about is forks. I don't like forks. If I have it my way I will never use a fork again. I'm all about the spoon. And I'm not just talking about in the bedroom, I'm talking about in the kitchen, in the living room, at the park and in my spaghetti.

What can you do with a fork that you can't do with a spoon? The most obvious answer lies at the tip - the fork has those little stabby points while the spoon just has a round edge. You might say that you need a fork to hold your steak while you cut it, or to twirl your pasta, or to pick up the lettuce in the bowl or to comb your hair if you are the Little Mermaid. I'll give you those things as reasons where a fork comes in handy but it's just not for me. A well pressed spoon can hold down a steak for carving, I prefer rotini, shells or macaroni as opposed to angel hair or fettuccine pasta, a spoon can scoop up lettuce as well as all the fixings in a good salad and with the exception of a few times when I grew my hair out I keep my hair nice and short, which makes it perfectly manageable when I'm devotin' full time for floatin' under the sea. Basically if you come at me with a fork I will counter with a spoon. I don't care for forks so you can take that utensil and go fork yourself.

I don't know why I am this way. It would be one thing if I grew up as the brother of The Blue Raja and I had to dodge forks so much that it literally and mentally scarred me for life. In college at UW Oshkosh I actually got quite accurate at flinging them into the wall at the end of the hallway by my dorm room. If I would have taken my training a little more seriously I could have cleaned up both High and Algoma streets and kept the riffraff off of campus. But I grew tired of forks and started my love affair with the spoon. I know that little bald headed kid said there is no spoon but he's still plugged in to the machine, so what the hell does he know? Copper-top motherfucker. I can't think of any situation where a spoon can't be used. Plus it is absolutely crucial for all of the best foods like soup, ice cream, cereal and spaghettios. Mmm mmm good. Not with a fork. See those spaces in between the pointy things? Those are the cracks where your food slips back into your bowl and not into your mouth. You should have used a spoon. Nice work there pal.

Look, I realize that you are either a spoon person or a fork person. Or you can go all Rodney King on our asses and go with a spork. I just want to say, you know, can we all get along? Can we get along? That's like the best of both worlds. Or you can take solace in the fact that God gave you two hands so you didn't have to make a choice. Spoon in one hand, fork in the other. Of course if it were me I'd have a spoon in one hand and a bigger spoon in the other. Don't judge me.  I like the big spoon. And I'm hoping there is at least one lady out there who likes it too.

The Write Month: June 20 - Inaction Figure

Inaction figure pretty sums up what I am. Everyone is probably familiar with an action figure. As a kid I played with G.I. JOE's, Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and He-Man toys. Various characters would bend at the elbows and knees so you could put them into combat positions and several of them even shot weapons. These were a creative kid's dream because it allowed you to act out scenes from the movies or cartoons or create your own storylines. I spent way too many hours in the basement or living room in this fantasy world but I don't regret any of those "wasted hours". When I was recreating Jurassic Park or taking the Millennium Falcon through the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs the other neighborhood kids were playing sports or chasing girls. In essence those afternoons made me what I am today - a fat single dude who still sits at home by himself playing with toys (albeit the toy is now a computer and the action figures are my words). But even though nothing as really changed in that regard I have become the opposite of what I used to play with - I am now an inaction figure.

To my knowledge this term was coined by Kevin Smith (director of Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and you might also recognize him for his portrayal of Silent Bob in those films) to describe the figurines of characters from his movies that that he was selling. Unlike action figures these plastic characters did nothing; they just stood there. Knowing that action wasn't the right word to describe them he labeled them inaction and today I become one of those figurines gathering dust on a shelf. I don't do anything. I barely live a life that provides enough material to fill the digital pages of this blog. I don't have my own family to provide me with a constant need to spring into action like a hero that saves the day. I don't do anything dramatic or memorable. For the most part I just sit here. Of course every now and then I get out there and do something. At Afterglow I get some exercise and spend the majority of the day outside. I recently went camping with my Pops and slept in a tent. Just this past Sunday I laid on the grass in the backyard. But I wouldn't describe anything that I do  is any different than what the normal person does. The only difference is that I do it less frequently. And I also have no problem with it.

Some people get all antsy if they are cooped up inside and don't see a lot of action in their lives. I'm not like that. The truth is that I don't care because I don't know any better. I live a life of motionless solitude which has led to me being grossly unattractive and eternally alone. I could change it if I knew how to but that would require action. I've made a living out of being a man of inaction. So how do I do it? What could possible motivate me to be a man of action? How can I change my ways? Where is the evil villain that kidnaps the woman that I love that makes me go out on a quest to rescue her? Where is the woman that I love? She's not in my apartment. I can tell you that much. She's never been here. She's always been out there. I'm pretty sure I met her once a few years ago and went through a period of time when there was plenty of action. I was outside of my comfort zone. I lived for a change. But I screwed it up big time. I didn't make the move when I should have. But by the time I figured it all out she was gone. She was the girl. I know that now. So I've spent every day since then Chasing Amy, so to speak. It's kept me from being an action figure.

The Write Month: June 19 - To The Moon and Back

When I left the office around 6pm last night the moon was sitting up there in the sky looking down at me. I stopped to stare back. I took a picture but mine didn't turn out despite it being a "smart" phone with an 8 megapixel camera. So thank you internet for the assist on this one. This was pretty much how the moon looked and I was fascinated by it. I've always been fascinated by outer space, planets, moons, the stars and the possibilities that exist if we could ever go to infinity and beyond. But whether I'm staring at the moon on a random Tuesday or lying underneath the stars on KK at Afterglow I can't help but wonder. What's going on out there that we can't see? What does the Universe look like to the human eye? Are there other beings out there right now doing the exact same thing that I'm doing? Do they have similar thoughts about the Universe that is outside of their reach? Man hasn't been back to the moon in my lifetime with the last Apollo mission leaving the surface of the moon in December of 1972. And I doubt we will ever go back in my lifetime.

There were 12 men who walked on the moon and very soon we will sadly exist in a world where no currently living person has stood on another celestial body except for Earth. That's because some of those men are deceased and the remaining members of this exclusive club are old and getting older. Here are the Astronauts who have walked on the moon and their current age or date of death: 1. Neil Armstrong (82, died 8/25/12) 2. Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin (83) 3. Charles "Pete" Conrad (69, died 7/08/99) 4. Alan L. Bean (81) 5. Alan Shepard (74, died 7/21/98) 6. Edgar D. Mitchell (82) 7. David Randolph Scott (81) 8. James B. Irwin (61, died 8/8/91) 9. John Watts Young (82) 10. Charles M. Duke Jr. (77) 11. Harrison "Jack" Schmitt (77) 12. Eugene A. Cernan (79). That's it. Those are the only people who have stood on a non man-made object in space and looked back upon the home they left behind. What an amazing sight to behold. The pictures are really cool but I'm sure they don't do it justice. What a lonely feeling that must be. To feel so small, so insignificant. But at the same time you must feel so mighty like a god that has done the impossible. To exist in an environment where survival is not humanly possible. To conquer an insurmountable goal and boldly go where no man has gone before. Well, at least for Neil Armstrong. For Eugene Cernan it was more like boldly go where only 11 men have gone before but still it's pretty fucking sweet. Out of the billions and billions of people who have ever lived only 12 people can can claim to have set foot on the moon. That's such an insane concept for me to grasp. I can't imagine what that is like. And I doubt I ever will.

I wanted to be an Astronaut as a child. Shit, I think every child did. To fly outside of the Earth and into outer space. That's every kid's dream. I wanted to do something different, to be special. Be unique. Little did I know that I didn't have to go to the moon and back to be an individual. I'm not like anyone else. I know that because I haven't met anyone else like me. I haven't even met anyone who can put up with me. I don't know who or what I am but I do know that I don't fit in here. Maybe I do belong out in space or on another planet. Maybe I'm supposed to stay here and change the world. Perhaps I'm doomed to stay locked up in my own mind behind my self-imposed prison bars. I don't know if I will ever find the answer. But I'm not going to stop looking. Where would we be today if man had looked at the moon and quit right there knowing that he would never reach it? We'd be stuck on Earth still looking up. So I'm not going to quit. I'll keep trying to find someone who gets me. Even if I DO have to go to the moon and back.

The Write Month: June 18 - A Mild Addiction

And I'm not talking about taco sauce here folks. Oh we'll get to the sauce, but a completely different kind of sauce if you know what I mean. But let me start out by saying that I don’t completely understand addiction, so let me apologize to anyone who is actually facing a real inner struggle. I don’t want to come off as condescending or insensitive to your problems when I make light of addiction as it applies to me. Let it be known for the record that I speak for myself and can’t even figure out what the hell is happening in my life most of the time. There will never be a time when I speak on behalf of the human race, animal kingdom, league of midgets, circus act The Flying Scoleri Brothers, Genie Childcare on 51st and Teutonia, the original Black Ranger Zack Taylor (played by Walter Emmanuel Jones, Wayne Brady’s half-brother) from Season 1 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Future Farmers of America (The FFA) or any of the other members of this Universe that I don't have time to mention right now. Basically what I'm about to say only applies to myself so don't get all worked up about me trivializing addiction.

I can't say that I'm truly addicted to anything. Everyone knows the usual addictions out there like booze, gambling, sex, drugs and rock and roll but I'm sure there are many other things that people can not do without and become dependent on. If we are talking addiction here then I guess I'm hooked on food, water, oxygen and rage. Can't go a day without those things although my Doctor would probably say that I could stand to go a few days (weeks even) without food. And that leads to my first semi-addiction. We're not talking about trucks here people but I do have a strange affinity for Optimus Prime. I'm talking about some of the cargo those trucks haul - delicious food. I love food. You've seen me. I'm bigger than most people in the state of Wisconsin and that's saying a lot. I can't stop eating even when I am not hungry. Its so damn good man. It's the highlight of my day when I get to sit down and munch and crunch on some goodies. And don't even offer me free eats. If I know something is about to go bad or be thrown away but it is still edible I'll eat it. I cry in movies where people do something like order a pizza then don't eat all of it. Hey pal! Don't waste! Give me some of that shit. I'm like a human garbage disposal when it comes to free food. I have bum mentality where I eat as much as I can when it is available because I never know when I get to eat again. Only there is always another meal coming. I never starve. I have 2 jobs and a family that always feeds me. I never have to worry about going hungry. But still I suck down free eats just in case. I love food more than a lot of things in this world but I still wouldn't call it an addiction.

I guess I could also can say that I have a gambling problem. But I still wouldn't classify it as an addiction because it's not traditional in the way that you think. I usually only gamble with my life, never with my money. But when I do step inside a casino I just lose my fucking mind and get caught up in the possibility of hitting the big time and solving all of my financial woes in one quick push of the button. I can't walk away. I get caught up in all of the loud noises and flashing lights. I become a spectacle as I cheer on the bonus game. When I win I jump out of my chair, dancing around in a circle slapping my ass like Happy Gilmore after he sinks a big putt. Hours later I realize that time has passed and I have lost more money than I can afford to part with. I have no limits. But it is not just casinos that get me. Oh no. Hang out with me often enough and you'll find yourself on the winning end of several stupid bets that I make. I have paid for portions of Cousin Kevin's tattoos because of a bet. I have purchased juice boxes or beers for my pal Mike Wilhelm because of bets I made against Zack Greinke or Yovani Gallardo. I also bet Mike $100 that I would die before I am 40 and he gets to collect on my 40th birthday or tuck the $100 in my pocket at my funeral. That's fucking insane. What do I stand to gain on that bet? I know there are other examples but I don't want to embarrass myself further.

And then there's the sauce. Once again we're not talking about the one you put on tacos. I do tend to drink more often than most people do but it's not like I do it every day and I don't let it control my life. I can go without it and it's not like I'm drunk 24/7. I know that these sound like excuses or me dodging the issue (don't they say that denial is one of the first signs of being an addict?) but I think I would know if it were true. I bet other people have their own opinion (especially if you ask my Mother) but that doesn't concern me. The big thing for me to prove that I'm in control is that I don't let any of these things run my life. I pay all of my bills, work 2 jobs and take care of my cat. I maintain healthy relationships with my friends and family. To my knowledge I have not destroyed any part of my life through eating, gambling and drinking. The only argument that I can see against my case is that I have ruined my own life for the most part because of my weight, lack of a savings account and unwillingness to socialize with other people. I'd rather stay home by myself. Deal with it.

This is just the surface here of what I think are just mild addictions. Everyone has something that they love to do that they know are bad for them. Some are more serious than others but who is to say what is better or worse? Like all things moderation is the key and I know I've done a good job of balancing them. I only go to the casino for special occasions (Las Vegas, Afterglow, bachelor parties) and can't afford to spend a lot so I don't. It's not like I'm pulling down $60,000 a year and I have a lavish lifestyle. A paycheck to paycheck guy can't pay all of his bills then squander the rest at Potawatomi because there is no rest. I don't have expendable income so I am able to steer clear of temptation. Same goes with the food and booze. Does that mean I'm not an addict because I can't afford to be? Maybe. But don't don't real addicts get their fix by any means even if they have to lie, cheat, steal or screw over their friends and family? You won't see me doing that. Do I have a problem? Yes. Can I fix the problem? Yes. Do I know how? Not exactly. Does the problem run my life? I don't think so. So why is this an issue? Because right now I just have a mild addiction which could get worse if left untreated. I'm just going to leave it at that for now. And therein lies the problem...

The Write Month: June 17 - The Wrong Guy in the Wrong Place at the Write Time

It seems to me that I'm always the wrong guy in the wrong place at the write time. Story of my life. Let me explain. I'm always the wrong guy. I know I haven't lived up to my potential both inside and out because I can do so much better with what I have been given. No one is excited when I appear on the scene. People are like oh it's that guy. I thought it was gonna be He-Man. I'm not good looking. I'm not an athlete. I'm not model. Although those can be debatable because I was a semi-professional beer pong player and I once signed a model release form to authorize Playboy to use my picture on their website for a feature article on the World Series of Beer Pong II. Basically I'm the wrong guy. I'm what you get when all other options are taken and you've decided that your parents wouldn't approve of you being a lesbian. And even after that I'm still single. Of course I could change this by putting in the time and effort to make myself the right time but that leads to the next part - I'm always in the wrong place.

I'm not comfortable in my own skin or with myself as a person so I'm either awkward around people. so over the top as to make everyone else awkward or sitting at home by myself to avoid the awkwardness. While you may argue that this is not true because I'm guessing if you are reading this we've hung out before I'll let you in on a little secret - it's all a ruse. A cunning attempt to trick you from knowing who I really am. At least in person. Which brings up the next part of the line - the write time. If you follow me on here or anywhere else online you'll see a different side of me than I display elsewhere. On here I can hide behind my words under the false assumptions that no one will ever read this and figure out who I really am on the inside.

Or maybe I'm just bullshitting and I have no fucking clue what I am talking about. Ha ha ha, I say. I was only kidding. I am a chronic liar after all. That way you will never know the real truth. So am I write or am I wrong? Who can tell? I've been living a lie my entire life and I've forgotten which path I have chosen and how deep the rabbit hole goes. I know what you're thinking right now - why oh why didn't I take the BLUE pill? Because the world is fake. I would rather see it for what is than not be able to see it at all. That's why I write what I see. That's why I record my life through various mediums. I want to get it all down and try to understand it. There has to be a reason I'm the wrong guy in the wrong place at the write time. God gave me the ability to write coherently and a boundless imagination for a reason and I'm left alone to figure out that reason. But until then here is a recap of what happened this last week here on the blog in case you missed it.

Monday June 10th - I didn't say much on Monday because everything that I had on my mind was recorded in my personal journal that you (the general public) does not have access to. Unless you broke into my house and stole it of course. I don't know why you would do that but it wouldn't be worth it. There isn't anything in there that will be any use to you. I'm hoping in 10, 25 or 50 years (if I live that long) it will serve as a reminder that life was good once and that it wasn't a total waste. Even though the information in there might not even serve useful to me in the future the important thing is that I am writing in there. Kickin' it old school if you will. My thoughts, a pen and some paper. What else do I need?

Tuesday June 11th - On Monday night I went to see the new Apocalypse comedy This Is The End and shared some of my thoughts on the End of the World. It's no secret that I didn't care about life or death for most of 2011 and 2012 and I provided links to some of the articles I wrote at a very dark and depressing time in my life. My attitude has improved slightly in 2013 but I still hope to see The Rapture or Armageddon in my lifetime. How fucking sweet would that be?

Wednesday June 12th - I play it real safe in my life which is probably why women don't find me attractive. Well that and the ugliness and a body that could only be described as roly poly. But women also love the dangerous bad boys and I'm afraid that I'm not one of them because I chose not to consort with nefarious characters. In fact I don't really consort with anyone which is why I'm such a loner. If it wasn't for my cat Korben Dallas I don't think I would hang out with anyone most days of the week.

Thursday June 13th - One of the reasons I don't really hang out with people is because I lost my brother Timmy who was my right hand man and my best friend. He was always free to get together, catch a movie, play a show to get me out of the house or go for a drive in the countryside and jam out to some music. In so many ways I haven't dealt with his death even though it has been over 2 years and I'm worried about life without him. But he wrote a song called Driving On that speaks to me at this point in my life and kind of sums up everything that I want to say about where I am right now. It's not a good place but I'll keep driving on until I get there.

Friday June 14th - Speaking of driving, I started my own podcast called The Drive to Stay Alive so I could talk out my problems and figure out my reason to keep on living; my place in this world. I haven't figured it out yet and I doubt I ever will. But I am letting it out instead of keeping it all pent up inside of a bottle. It keeps me from exploding and even if no one ever listens to it, I know that I made an effort to release my frustrations and inner most feelings.

Saturday June 15th - For the last 2 weeks I've been doing a lot of writing. A lot of writing. For the most part it has been entertaining to me so I suppose I could keep it up for the remainder of the month. But no topic that I have covered this month was as much fun as coming up with responses to some of the random questions that you asked me. I sent out a text message to a select group of people and told them to ask me a random question. Since I had no idea what was coming I decided to respond with my first thought which is often the most truthful because you don't have time to formulate a lie. It was a fascinating experiment and one that I will definitely do again on this blog.

Sunday June 16th - I've been holding on to this CareerBuilder.com commercial of a koala getting punched in the face for over 3 years and I finally had a reason to share it and make my comments. I don't know your sense of humor but this pretty much does it for me. A koala getting punched in the face is classic but before you think less of me I only approve of it if he is wearing glasses and speaks with an accent. So chill out everyone. I love animals. Even my cat Korben Dallas who bites me nightly after I give him the attention he craves. But every now and then I put a pair of glasses on him and dare him to speak with an accent.

That's what has happened in my life over the last week, or at least in my online life. I'm sure there were a lot of moments that happened outside of this digital space but these were the moments that I chose to share with the world. I know that I shoot myself down a lot and have no self respect but it all comes from having no confidence or self-esteem. I blame myself entirely but you grow up being a fat kid and see how you turn out. But it taught me to find humor and learn how to develop a skill and for me that was writing. Say what you want about my style or word choice but I'm going to ignore you if you are negative. I know I'm a damn good writer and I take a lot of pride in what I do. It's the only good thing in my life and the only thing that could possibly get me out of whatever self created hell I've been living in. So stayed tuned to the blog for more nonsense during June and I promise you that even though I may be the wrong guy in the wrong place, here on my blog it will always be the write time. Yippee-ki-yay, Motherfucker!
